We start from the church where Dante was baptized:San Giovanni Baptistry.”Nel mio bel San Giovanni=In my beautiful San Giovanni”(Inferno XIX-17)through Cerretani street we go to Santa Maria Maggiore church where Brunetto Latini,who was Dante's teacher, was buried, then we walk through via del Corso where the house-tower of Guelfs,Dante's faction, and Beatrice Portinari's home who Dante loved;then we visit Santa Margherita de' Cerchi church and we can see from outside Dante's real home near San Martino Square;then we go to the remains of San Pier Scheraggio where Dante conducted his political debates and to end our tour we go to Santa Croce square where we can see Dante's monument made by Enrico de' Pazzi and inside Santa Croce church we can see Dante's cenotaph made by Stefano Ricci 1830.
